HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host someone who is swinging through Iowa City. Or if you want to grab a drink or a cup of coffee while in the city, let me know! I know a little bit more about Minneapolis than Iowa City, but I am getting more familiar.

Pretty much law is all I spend my time on now. I also like exercise and food. My finacee is an excellent cook so I enjoy trying her new recipes. Other interests include criminal law, history and Japan.

Books: Crime and Punishment, Song of Fire and Ice series, poetry (particularly Japanese and Chinese) and most of Yukio Mishima and Haruki Murakami's work.
Music: Not too picky, I will typically listen to it and if I like it, I will listen to it again.
Movies: Taxi Driver, documentaries, and most work by Hayao Miyazaki

Climbed to the top of Mount Fuji as the sun was rising. If you ever are in Tokyo, this is a must do. Oh, and go to Komori Ramen in Yotsuya.

I speak Japanese and can translate if anyone needs anything done. I also have a workable knowledge of Japanese history and culture.
I am starting to get a grasp on Law too, but I am not a lawyer and cannot provide legal advice.
