Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have an adventure and meet interesting people as I slowly make my way across the country.
ABOUT ME
Conscientious and open-minded, with a curious spirit. I love meeting new people and learning how they arrived at this moment, what they're passionate about and what we can learn from each other. Not afraid to ask or answer big questions once a connection is made.
PHILOSOPHY
You can learn something from every person you meet, and every moment you live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to CouchSurfing, but am really enjoying the open and engaging community that's been created. I like the idea of taking an active role in the lives of people I stay with, and hope to contribute something in our time together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed my first couch recently and was amazed by their willingness to let a "stranger" into their home. And honestly, the experience renewed my faith in humanity a little bit. Over several days we had great conversations, learned from each other, and they even let me cook for them. We're still in touch and I hope to one day return the favor.
Interests
Challenging what I think I know, traveling to new places, experimenting in the kitchen, and helping things grow, be it plants, people or ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh geez.... That could take a while. Everything from The Bicycle Thief to Team America, from Opera to Honky Tonk, and from How the Mind Works to Everybody Poops. Essentially, anything that resonates on an emotional level, while tickling my intellect. If it deepens or challenges my perspective, I'm interested.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a giant grouper the size of a small car the first time I went scuba diving. It reminded me of both how small I am compared to the natural world, and how fortunate I was to visit such a place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a big techie and I love being able to help people with their computer issues. Also, I'm in a very unique MBA program which has immeasurably broadened my understanding of sustainability, innovation and strategy, so I really enjoy exchanging perspectives and talking about the future.
