About Me

Who wants to stay at a cold, dark, lonely hotel? I'm all about the adventure and making friends wherever I go.

Carefree, funny, always up for an adventure. I have seen and done a lot in my 30 years. I am very open minded, friendly, and love to try new things. Atheist, kind, like to be active. I can make friends with pretty much anyone and never have a hard time finding something to talk about. On a deeper level, I am fascinated with neuroscience, particle physics, and just science in general. I'm a nerd who likes to party. That pretty much sums it up.

I live my life trying to be the happiest and best human being I can be. I don't take things seriously, unless I absolutely have to. I'm a atheist with a huge heart. I like mooning people when I'm drunk, giving hugs, snuggling, and delicious booze. Gin, craft beer, merlot, and the occasional smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be interested in hosting in the near future, but right now I am looking for a place in Atlanta to crash for the Shaky Knees festival in May. I can start hosting here in Raleigh starting March.

I've actually never couchsurfed before. This will be my first time. I've heard horror stories, so let me just tell you now, I WILL NOT HAVE SEX WITH YOU. I can guarantee however, that there is never a dull moment with me. Unless you hate having fun, in which case, fuck you.

Seeing live music, camping, hiking, breweries, traveling, running, generally not giving a shit. Cursing, yes also lots of cursing. Delicious food... and on the serious side - I actually volunteered with the Peace Corps and despite my surly demeanor I'm actually a really nice person.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything with Bill Murray and anything by Wes Anderson. Coen brothers, as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the Peace Corps. I've traveled a decent amount. I've seen and done quite a bit. Just ask.

Teach, Learn, Share

I kind of know how to make jewelry. Think of it as jewelry 101. I'm good at making people feel comfortable. I'm good at drinking wine. I'm good at telling stories. I'm good at running. I'm good at cleaning up after a wretched party and making breakfast and coffee for everyone.
