ABOUT ME

My friends tell me I am 'open' I guess I am as I welcome new experiences, people, places, ideas, conversations. I don't generally enjoy a predictable day. I am 62, have reared many children, and now enjoying 'doin my own thing' I have not travelled alone before but am really looking forward to it and 'couch surfing' just makes so much sense to me. I have enjoyed a large home with a large family and kids all knew they could bring extras home so sharing home and love and food and ideas is just a nice way to live. So couch surfing just seems an extension of that. My friends also say I am loving, intuitive a good listener and can share anything without being judged.

Intereses

I love and am passionate about the planet. I want to see so much more of it. I love to see how different people live and how humankind has adapted to its environment. Thus the different cultures. I love history. Much as I may be disillusioned by much of what is happening on the planet I am also excited and encouraged by many younger people coming through with open hearts and open minds and exciting possibility thinking. I love to listen to those people. I love to dance. I love tribal music. I love the opera, classical, walks in nature, museums.

I am very often awestruck in nature. Uluru. Snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef. Canoeing down the Nymboida with some of my kids. Halong Bay in Vietnam. Sleeping under the big open sky of the Northern Territory. Definitely Banff in Canada
