I'm an 18 years old guy from Switzerland. Last August I did the general qualification for university entrance and I will now start the studies in September 2016. At the time I am doing a gap-year, where I worked for half a year to now be able to travel around Latin-America. I started my journey the 10th of January and will fly back the 31th of May. It's the first time I travel that long on my own, but I am really engoying the experience I am doing here!

I'm a very open-minded and trustable person, who loves to speak about everything with everybody! I love to get to know other cultures and other people I meet.

I speak fluently German, French, Italian and English. Beside getting to know a new culture and traveling with a backpack the goal of my trip is to learn Spanish. I do alot of progresses, because I started speaking it. I already can communicate in Spanish without bigger problems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great way to get to know a new place, because you are with local people, that can show one the city/landscape. With local people you can learn a new language very easily, because you are almost forced to speak this language.

For the second part it's a good way to sleep somewhere without having to spent too much money. For me as a student it totaly fits ;-)
