About Me

Hey there, I'm Tris! I'm new to Couch-surfing, but I'm excited about the idea of co-operative and social travel and board. I love to travel, but it is something that gets more expensive every day; you either have the money or no time or visa-versa. I'd like to say that it's one of my goals to be one the perfect, most considerate guests, and that people get as much out of stays as much as I do.

One of the reasons why I sign up to the website now, is because I'm trying to set up a small sports coaching business and I'd love the opportunity to travel, network and connect. (Also, I'm 24, not 18 like my profile says.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It was one of my friends from University that introduced me to Couchsurfing, both as a concept and as a practitioner and had many fantastic stories.

I've joined Couchsurfing.com to get in contact with other couchsurfers and to begin travelling. I feel that travelling is an enriching experience.

- Walks and Running (though I'm not a marathon runner just yet).
- Video games
- Trading card games
- Table-top RPG's
- Music, the listening to, I can't play anything.
- Learning about business
- Enjoying the occasional drink or two, or three.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rather than having all time favorites, it's more of a case of "the movie, or tune of the season". I've a wide berth of culture interests. It's more difficult to find something I don't like, or to at-least see the value in it. :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've taught English as a foreign exchange student in the Netherlands. It was ace!

Teach, Learn, Share

Couldn't agree more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can
- Bring drinks and take-away
- Fall asleep on the floor
- Try and get you past that really difficult bit on that video game you like.
- Bring a frisbee! I can play all day long and teach you new skills!
- Help with cleaning, and simple cooking jobs.
- Do a little DIY if it is basic.
- Read any homework, essay, paperwork, stories that you may have.
- Run an impromtu Dungeons and Dragons session for your friends and family.
