To do more with less
Got a great sense of humor, fun-loving, laid back, curious, and a closeted optimist at heart.
I love meeting new people, finding the bottom of a martini, exploring new cities via foot, and living in a swimsuit for as long as I can help it.
I work at a youth homeless shelter and as a baker/server. Back to grad school in a few years.
I save every penny I can for traveling (or martinis, but that's a necessity).
If I had a pair of shoes and they were the only ones left in the world, I would lend them to you, but on the condition that we do piggy-backs or invent a new three-legged race technique.
Bring it all to the table. People are beautiful and leftovers last a lifetime...or up to seven days depending on your fridge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to learn as much as I can, while having fun with as many people as I can.
I love stories. I like to think of most people as types of chocolate candy bars with different wrappers, shapes, and ingredients, but overall you like them just the same. I also may just really like chocolate.
I absolutely love CS because I've met too many sweet, interesting, funny people to stop. My favorite experience was hosting my first surfer in Berkeley and then by chance hanging out in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans four months later. We ended up connecting a year later in Berlin. Full circle and reason #234 why I love this community.
Cooking large pots of food mixed up with everything, yoga has always been a favorite, finding good wine, meeting new people as much as possible, reading fiction and not caring, feeding my friends, occasionally drinking dinner, hitting up all the local thrift store sales (this grandma know them)and hiking in the sun. Also, I believe good views are priceless.
Music, Movies, and Books
Library cards are sexy. That's my story.
I started a book-club with my friend. So far we've only been able to recruit ourselves as members. It might be our monthly selections.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the Space Needle in Seattle made all my nerdy fifth-grade dreams come true.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can knit a mean scarf and am always down to teach. Sister is teaching me how to cook vegan food.
