ABOUT ME
I'm a
PHILOSOPHY
Secular humanism would be my best shot at describing my philosophy. However any philosophy that can be described in a single sentence, can't be very well though off. You'll have to get to know me for a more nuanced view.

None yet but I'm excited to get started!
Interests
Reading: One would think that a person reading 8 hours a day would be satiated for the remainder of the time. I do however find casual reading to be such an enriching and mind expanding experience, that it would be a personal waste not to do it alot.
Running: For me running is a healthy addiction. The everyday opportunity it presents for getting out and thinking things through while at the same time getting in good shape is unquestionable. At its best its meditative and therapeutic.
Krav Maga: The Israelic martial art of Imi Lichtenfeld is a close combat system distinguished for its no nonsense approach to self defence. It has no grand arching philosophy to its origins. Its a brutal but effective way of defending oneself. I like it however for the excersize it gives and for the diverse and challenging sessions of training, our amazing coach strings together for us.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I watch alot of movies and im not very choosy. The movies of David Lynch, Takashi Miike, Chan-wook Park and perhaps Lars von Trier, Terrence Malick and Jim Jarmusch would describe how my favourite kinds of movies are composed. Multi layered and original with strong visuals.
Music: Blues rock, psychedelic rock, folk music is what i mostly hear but generally most genres have their charms to me.
Books: I read alot. Mostly nonfiction on topics such as evolutionary biology and science in general, history and philosophy but i try not to be choosy.
