I left the US for Denmark and Sweden in November of 2013. I used to work for the Democratic Party, though I'd typically vote for Green Party candidates. Since moving I've switched to teaching English.
As a CS guest I try to find a good balance between being quiet and interactive, depending on the host's schedule and energy level.
The golden rule.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I mainly surf. I've hosted a few people in Malmo, and I like to return the favor to my previous hosts.
It's so nice to be able to visit a city without feeling like a tourist. I've really enjoyed getting to know my CS hosts.
I haven't surfed in a year and a half, so I'm looking forward to trying it again.
Meeting new people. Making and listening to music. Walking/jogging/biking around town. Surfing and the beach. Soccer. Tennis.
Music, Movies, and Books
My spotify playlist suggests some of my favorite music is Jimmy Eat World, Saves the Day, Senses Fail, and The Naked and Famous. I like a lot of different genres though, and many different books and movies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to sound good on guitar quickly or how to make electronic music.
Though I do it fairly simplistically, I enjoy practicing Swedish.
