ABOUT ME

I am 20 years old and just starting to adventure to places on my own and on a tight budget. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and it's something that I wish to do for my entire life.

I am studying Art and Peace Studies in Baltimore, Maryland at Goucher College. My specialty in art is digital manipulation and photography which I pour my soul into. I also enjoy charcoal, drawing, and collage. However, my dream is to have art that helps communities and individuals find peace. The Peace Studies concentration helps feed my passion to help people and better others lives.

Other than that, I love old vintage things, quirky people, laughing, chicken noodle soup, and poetry.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that each day should be met by a smile. By traveling, I hope to bring smiles to each person I meet.

I currently do not have the resources to house eager couch surfers, but I hope one day that I can give back to this community that will help me travel.

Interests

I am very passionate about art. I find that traveling helps me see beautiful things and become inspired to create something new and unique.

I also love getting to know people. Each person has a unique story, and I want to know what that story is. They vary so much from mine, yet we all have similarities and ways to connect.

Music, Movies, and Books

My mood for music changes with the seasons. At the moment I have been listening to quirky folk music from Danielle Ate the Sandwich, rap from Atmosphere, blues from Mayer Hawthorne, and jazzy dance music from Fitz and the Tantrums.

My favorite movies are The A-Team, The Artist, and Music from Another Room.

My favorite Musicals are Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain, An American in Paris, and South Pacific.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one thing that comes to mind at the moment is the experience where I sang with 200 other people choral songs in the Canterbury Cathedral in England.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are so many things I want to learn. I want to learn how to dumpster dive, to speak fluent Spanish, and to play the guitar. I am up for learning anything that anyone has to share.

I personally know how to sing, blow smoke rings, clogg, roller blade backwards, blues dance, salsa dance, and swing dance. I would love to teach anything I have to offer.
