ABOUT ME

I grew up across the street from what was an Indian Assimilation school in Lawrence Kansas. It is now Haskell Indian Nations University. I knew at an early age that I was destined for a career in education and if all else failed I could find a position driving those Cushman carts around campus doing maintenance work. I currently live in campus housing in downtown Portland Oregon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have lived below the poverty line or close to it for many many years. This community can make it safe and feasible for me to travel to places I would not otherwise have been able to afford.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For the most positive experiences I have stayed at student co-op's, have hosted folks at my own student co-op, and have surfed friends couches more than a few times over the years. In my daring youth I had positive experiences as well as some negative ones as a vagabond globetrotter.
