Although I may not be the great conversationalist of the century, I'm not unsociable and do enjoy a good chat here and there. I love hearing people's life stories, jokes and news from around the world.

Interests

I love the outdoors! Tramping and camping, nature and wildlife watching, zip lines and ropes courses, bicycling and skiing (both downhill and cross-country).

I can strum a guitar a little and blow a few simple melodies on the harmonica. I also enjoy singing and listening to music.

Board games, card games and puzzles are also among my favourite pastimes.

Having a tremendous sweet tooth, baking and making desserts gives me a lot of fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk, rock, pop, alternative, old timey jazz, bossa nova, ska, calypso, classical... some of each, lots of all together!

I read books and magazines every now and then: causaries, humour, nature-related, psychological and mind-boggling stuff, stories about different cultures, extraordinary people and incidents, travel stories and children's books, some fantasy and a tiny bit of poetry to keep my words a-rollin'!

Of movies, my favourite types are tasteful comedy, fantasy, adventure, oldies, animated films and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked and worked in Australia and New Zealand for thirteen months!
