About Me

CURRENT MISSION

make the world a little better eve3ry day

ABOUT ME

Random stuff: I like boats, I'm restoring a 60 year old sailboat in my garage and I built a kayak over the past couple of years. I like loose leaf tea, starts my day right when I drink it. I'm into music, play the piano, and have a piano in my house. Love cycling, ultimate frisbee and anything outdoorsy. Love hiking and camping and more.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live... We have a responsibility for our environment, but balance is required. WE live on this planet too...

Balance in everything... Don't be mean. Nothing is as important as it ever seems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

just started, hope to meet some cool people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just joined CS so I have no experiences, but hopefully I'll be able to do this a bunch more as I continue my journey in life, and make some new friends and have amazing adventures!

Interests

I really like sailing, and building boats, and studying wooden boats, and designing boats... I also like rock climbing, kayaking, biking, boat building, backpacking, hiking, having adventures, mountaineering, and I REALLY REALLY like skiing. I also like reading and playing the piano. I took piano lessons for 12 years but I haven't been able to keep it up through college, which I really regret.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pretty much all music except for heavy metal. I like action movies and comedies. I'm also a fan of old westerns, and some rom-coms... I'll read any kind of book if it looks interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done in my life is sail on a tall ship from Spain to Monaco to France to Bermuda. Seeing all those places was absolutely incredible. Even better than that was being able to sail across the Atlantic. The sunsets and sunrises were incredible, and climbing up the masts to set sail was one of the most memorable experiences in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely teach someone how to sail, and give pointers on piano.
