I just finished junior college and will only start university in August 2016. Working and travelling right now, hoping to meet new people.

I will be studying Cognitive Science or Psychology and Linguistics. I love to talk with other people about pretty much everything. (Look at my interests!) I am also learning a few languages and am fluent in English and Chinese so I would love to share about these too, so that we can learn from each other.

This is my first time on Couchsurfing and I'm really excited to try this out. I'm not able to host anybody right now as I still live with my family but in the future I am very interested in hosting other travellers!

ABOUT MY PLACE

I live with my parents, a helper and two younger sisters.

It is about a 10-15min bus ride from the nearest train station, located 30min from town. Central area, easy to get to any place.

You will be staying with me in my room in the pull-out bed. The room is a bit small so it will be kind of cramped but I hope you will enjoy your stay anyway. You will need to be comfortable with sleeping in the same room as a female.
OR
You will be sleeping on the couch in the living room. (No air-conditioning, only fan.) I think it's quite comfortable!

Breakfast can be provided if you'd like! We don't really cook at home but I can cook you something if you want, and also bring you around to get really good, cheap local food.

Right now I am working as a server in town so my hours are a bit irregular. I might not be able to be around all the time but I'll do my best to bring you around Singapore when I'm not working.

My place is a 2min walk away from MacRitchie Reservoir, the nature reserve, and a 5min walk from Bishan Park. If you want to go for a run or hike during your stay in Singapore, let me know and I'll bring you around; I run and am familiar with the routes. Most likely I will be running every morning before work so if you'd like to join me, you are very welcome to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gave up studying for exams in June 2016 and decided to go to Japan instead. We went on a roadtrip around Hokkaido and it was fantastic.
