About Me

Hey everyone! I'm 28 years old, looking to travel a little bit and thought this site sounded great! I graduated from UC Santa Cruz a few years ago and I'm a service writer for Toyota. I play guitar, chess and golf. Love to go camping, hiking, biking, swimming etc. Not much I don't enjoy doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to travel before life catches up to me. Which it will, and the past few years have flown by quicker than ever. I rent a room in a house right now, so I can't take anyone in, but I'd be more than happy to show you around Sacramento and the surrounding areas (San Francisco, Bay area, etc).

Interests

Learning about this vast world! Imbue me with your passions! Like I said above, I really enjoy most of the things that life presents to me. I have a hard time saying no to something I haven't tried. Not to be too vulgar, but it's like, you know, fuck it, dude; whether the experience is good or bad it's bound to be a good story later on in life, right?!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music. Some genres I'm more picky with, but I can generally find at least one thing I enjoy about a particular type of music. Movies are a great escape. Not huge on horror flicks, other than that I'm open to most. Don't even get me started on books. I was a history and literature major; the list will be long.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving was amazing to me. I have a fear of heights.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge of the area. Vast knowledge of the history of the Americas. Good food, good times! I don't drink anymore (which is a total bummer, I know), but I still know where to get some great brews and cocktails. I really don't care if you guys drink, just as long as you're not an annoying drunk!
