CURRENT MISSION

A few years after graduation from the university and after living in Managua, Nicaragua, I currently live at home with my family. I am grateful to have the option to come home and a family to receive me. I am currently managing a restaurant and enjoy getting on the road if the chance is ever present.

ABOUT ME

While I have not been deprived of travel throughout my life, I still feel like there is so much more to see and learn about people and society in other areas besides the Southeastern United States where I have lived my entire life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently found out about the CS project and I feel that it is a great way to meet people of all sorts from all over the world. I plan to open my door to travelers who find themselves in my area and in doing so I hope to introduce them to the beautiful town of Boone located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

In conjunction, I hope to travel a great deal in the next 18 months of my life. During which, I hope to use the CS program to meet others who care about seeing/learning about the rest of the world. I hope to get an insider's perspective in the locations I visit through CS host's assistance. I aim to do whatever I can to pull my weight when I stay at someone's home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only one so far as a host. None as a surfer yet but I can't wait.

Lived in Managua with a local family for six months. I have since visited said family numerous times and plan to continue our relationships as long as I am able. Or just move back... :)
