ABOUT ME
A sense of humour, a warm welcome, friendly, sometimes shy.
PHILOSOPHY
Still in search for a sense of all these things. What I think now: Keep it simple and beautiful; though most of the time it's neither.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly anything, within the bounds of reason, goes: let's meet and do something; have a couch? need a couch? directions? help?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've sat and slept on couches of a lot excellent people. And myself, presented my couch happily whenever the oppurtunity arose. But the question isn't about this, right? I've yet to meet someone through this website. Though I'm sure we'll get along. :)
Interests
Company, jokes, talking, seeing, hearing, listening, thinking, reading, walking, cycling, dancing, sharing. I wish I'd always have time for these things. At the time I study philosophy, which I enjoy. I wouldn't call myself a traveller, though I've been to plenty of places. I take great pleasure in getting to know places and people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I enjoy american literature: Hemingway, Faulkner. If you want to talk about it - I know something about Lithuanian literature. Of course, I know most about philosophy books. My favourite philosophy reads: Plato "Symposium;, Nietzsche "Twilight of the Idols".
Music: open to all quality music. Though I can't take, for some reason, music that's too positive. I'd rather we listen to something with an edge. 5ive's continuum research project. Morphine. Velvet Underground. Kyuss. Vivaldi. Dave Brubeck. John Lee Hooker. Max Roach. Various electronics: d'n'b, dubtechno, minimal.
Movies: I find cinema a very open-ended art. I like to be surprised. My last two good movies: Bibliotheque Pascal; The Return[Vozvrashchenie].
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two things that left me(and keep me) awestruck: love; and the extremes of nature - overwhelimg, sacred beauty, relentless pain and terror.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share how to: make a couple of cakes; make a pizza from scratch; make a couple of lithuanian dishes; stand on your head.
Of course, to anyone interested in philosophy, I can suggest some reading; or talk about it... though I still haven't found out how not to make a mess of it.
