ABOUT ME

I have spent many years backpacking around the world. Being self employed and because of the type of work I do, I can work and travel at the same time, which has given me the opportunity to do the type of traveling I always dreamed of.

I am extremely easy going, I don't get stressed out and above all, I enjoy life!

I am currently in Amsterdam and I will be heading to Paris in the next few days to spend some time there.
Last month, I was in the USA, where I spent time in Washinton DC, New York and Boston...where I had a great time, but almost froze to death after arriving in Washington DC during one of the worst snow falls it has had in years! This partly caused by the airline losing my luggage and the fact I arrived there in only a t-shirt and a pair of combat shorts. I guess I am the type of traveller, who is experienced, but really doesn't think ahead at times!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only just joined this website, but I am hoping to be able to offer a couch to people traveling in the UK and are visiting the Chesterfield area.
I am currently away from home until May 23rd, but once I am back, then I will be glad to offer a couch for someone to sleep on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't yet had any experience in couch surfing, having only just joined, but considering I am away from home for the next few months, I am hoping the opportunity will come along.

Intereses

My hobbies include travel(obviously!, Art,Photography, Music Festivals(Glastonbury,Reading,Leeds etc..)and the cinema.

My favourite music tends to be anything from AC/DC through to Kylie Minogue...if it sounds good, I will listen to it!

Difficult to answer this question, as I have been to so many amazing places and done so many amazing things. I guess the highlights would include, Sky Diving over Las Vegas, Hiking through the Grand Canyon, Visiting Uluru, Treking through Amazon Rainforest and Whitewater rafting in Alaska.

As I have worked as a teacher in the past, I can offer IT skills, ranging from Microsoft office to
Photoshop CS and Video Editing. I can also offer to help none English speaking people the opportunity to learn to speak English through spending time with them helping them with their studies.
