CURRENT MISSION
To live past 120 and not a day less
ABOUT ME
My name is Jonathan Aslak Riedlin, I was born 08.08.1990 in Odense in Denmark. All my life I have had to move almost every two years which has taught me to be able to adapt to new environments and people and to be an open minded person. A life changing experience for me was when in 2004 my family and I moved to a village called Cockermouth which lies in the county Cumbria in the north-west of England, where I lived for 4 years. In 2008 I moved back to Denmark and enrolled into Århus University in the Department of Physics and Astronomy to study physics, where I am to this date. My future plans and goals, are, to complete a masters in physics and then, oddly some might say, work for some consultant firm which help out businesses, the reason I don't want to continue in the field of physics is because I think life is to short to only be working with one aspect of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't believe there is an objective purpose with life other than being alive of course since it is kind of what is implied in the word, I do believe in subjective purposes defined only by the individual, this means I don't regard a person who has sat and watched TV his whole life as having an any less significant life than a person who has climbed Mount Everest.
My personal purpose is to keep improving mentally, physically and socially.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I live in a studio apartment and don't really have the space to host a guest but one day when I get a bigger place I would like to host, but until then I participate by being the couch sleeper :)

The last non-acedemic book I read was a sci-fi book called "Second Foundation" by Isaac Asimov
I don't really have a favorit movie but I like series like "Southpark", "King of the Hill", "Futurama" etc. I also really like the "Sherlock Holmes" TV series with the actor Jemery Brett as Sherlock Holmes
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran and completed last summer the Frankfurt Marathon
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach about the wonderful world of modern physics, mankind most fundamental understanding of reality itself.
I'm very interested to learn other peoples worldviews.
