ABOUT ME

I'm currently a law school student. I traveled Europe last year and would definitely like to have a trip after law school.

Some goals are to...
...learn to speak at least one other language (preferrably Mandarin Chinese, French, or Spanish).
...expatriate for a period and live abroad at least a few years.
...dispel the myth that all American tourists are obnoxious, ignorant, and under the assumption that speaking English slowly will make it more likely for people to understand them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've not had the chance to CouchSurf yet, but just got a futon and would like to try it out from the other side and get involved in the community.

So far in my travels I´ve mostly been staying in hostels, then sightseeing and engaging in touristy endeavors. I´d like to get a better feel for local flavor and live like the locals live, if only for a few days at a time. If I have pleasant experiences, I´ll likely start hosting once I´m back in the states.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Coral reef snuba (an inbetween scuba and snorkeling) several years ago and taking in the amazing interplay of vibrant colors, teeming life, and clear water. Made me want to get my scuba diving credentials (which I still do).
