About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get lost in translation.
ABOUT ME
Newly armed with my psyc degree, and for lack of any actual career prospects, have decided to pursue my goal of travelling instead - heading to Europe in a few short weeks to explore, discover and live indefinitely!
PHILOSOPHY
How quickly not now becomes never.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking to surf at the moment as about to head over to Europe from NZ but once settled, would love to return the favour.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to couch surfing so please bare with me!
Interests
I wish I had been born a gypsy; I like to play in tarot cards and wish I was better at it. Would never say no to a night at a Karaoke bar. I love films and amazing books. Worship the sun and can happily spend weeks just lying at the beach and barely moving. Love a glass of wine with good friends after a long day. Or a big fry-up after an even bigger night out!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an unfortunate weakness for the awful rom-com: give me Dirty Dancing or Notting Hill any day. I'll read anything I can get my hands on. Music - I love The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, The Killers, Florence and the Machine, U2, The Fratellis, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles... But I really wish I was Beyonce. Or Jay-Z. Either or, really.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the world's first sunrise at the New Year's Eve festival in Gisbourne, NZ. Watching wild monkeys jump onto our boat when sailing around islands when in Phuket, Thailand. Getting to the top of the black ski run in the French Alps and realising there was no way I could get down without looking like Bridget Jones - more awestruck than amazing!
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, France, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand
Countries I’ve Lived In
New Zealand
