Travel is fatal to prejudice of languages, cultures and nations. Travel builds bridges of understanding and empathy.

Ready & keen to learn, and my tentative plans are flexible in anticipation of new adventures. I love to be in motion, to see and learn. Always ready to give a hand. Love cultural life cycle events like weddings, gong de (cremation ceremony),quincenearia, etc.
Love traveling, meeting people from other cultures and showing my hometown.Variety is the spice of life and traveling broadens new horizons and understanding that intrigue me. Like a kid in a candy store, I am fascinated by places, new tastes, cultures, languages.
Variety is the spice of life and traveling broadens new horizons and understanding that intrigue me. Some of my favorites : wrought iron, glass and natural wood. I usually try new tastes, and almost never choosing vanilla ice-cream over all other flavors.
If we experience cross-cultural opportunities and have a greater understanding of other cultures, we are not so quick to pigeonhole people. This results in a greater better global community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CS presents opportunities & adventures not available to most tourists. It's an intriguing concept and I'm glad someone acted upon this brilliant idea. Share it...& grow it...
I promote it as much as I can
CS experience is unique and priceless. Eiffel Tower is always there, but I love to experience the local culture while visiting the attractions; the CS contact is far enriching & inevitably memorable.
Life is fuller CS international networking with people & places, create educational exchanges, raise collective consciousness, spread tolerance and facilitate cultural understanding. With the ultimate goal of having in-depth and meaningful connections globally and thereby understanding and creating a Better World.
Indulge in travels, ballroom dancing, computer, hanging out, cultural opportunities, theater, spring, learning...

Music, Movies, and Books
My enjoyment of books and movies is across a wide spectrum, near impossible to list. However, I'm always ready for music by Groban and Bocelli. These days I mostly read online while novels are a luxury.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Toured an active USS Midway aircraft carrier in Asia (now a Museum in San Diego, CA)
Walked across Capilano Bridge (BC, Cananda): 136 m/ 446’long & 70 m/ 230’above River http://www.capbridge.com/index.html
Climbed the Great Wall of China (GWoC 6,400 K/4,000' long)
There's more to be enumerated, or recalled & likely to come up in conversations.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cook, dance, languages, gardening, travel experiences.
There may be a few more skills I have to share so ask me. I DO enjoy listening and learning from others, and like wicked humor bantering (assuming I know you enough to decipher the absence of condescending).
