Find cool shit all over the world
Ahoy! We recently finished our 15-month journey around the world and have decided to take a break and set up camp in Berlin. You can read more about us and our big trip at our website, Route nach Unbekannte Straße (route to unknown road): www.u-strasse.com
Fabian is an IT dude from Germany. Sarah is a media junkie from the USA. We met in London and now travel the globe. :)
We are now tentatively accepting guests for max 3 nights! Summer is a busy time and we're also doing some travelling/going to music festivals, so please understand if we can't always host. Also, we prefer to host people with whom we have something in common, so please mention why you're interested in us in your request. ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Now that we've done some surfing and set up our place, we're ready to meet some travellers and return the hospitality!! Even if we can't host or meet up, we've made a Google map of our recommended spots in Berlin—Ask for it :)
Sarah has been on Couchsurfing for a couple years now, you can check out her old profile here:
In London our big house was often a refuge for numerous surfers (some of whom ended up staying forever!). Now we've surfed in Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Japan and the USA. We hope to meet a lot more surfers during our travels!

Music, Movies, and Books
We love electronic music, from techno (Berlin vs Detroit) to house to drum n bass, bass, experimental, jungle, etc., etc. Sarah has a secret soft spot for stoner rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding ostriches in Vietnam and getting drunk in some old lady's wine cellar in the Ukrainian countryside
Teach, Learn, Share
Fabian loves cooking and is very interested in trading recipes!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We're happy to cook for our host, help them with German, Japanese and English, be their party crew, and show them a great time in their own town. We've collectively visited around 45 countries, and along with some long-winded but funny anecdotes, we can dole out advice on destinations or overland travel. If you plan to travel to London, we can also introduce you to our friends!
