ABOUT ME

I have been couch surfing with out the benefit of this site for the last 4 months or so and want to go further. I'm attempting to turn my exploits into a show for the travel channel. I want to explore and to some extent run away, but do it in the smartest possible way. also, for as little money as I have to.

I'm an artist and a lover. An intelectual and a friend. I want to world to be a better place yet worry that there is little any one person can do to make that happen.

I believe life is a pretty dull adventure if you don't take any risks.

I'm a surfer. if I had a home I would lend out a couch, but I don't.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

for the last few months I've been almost homeless. I have spent some time in minneapolis with friends, some time with my brother, and some time with a wonderful new friend in Los Angeles. I want to continue this trend, meeting people and seeing the country.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are many. I'm not a big reader, but when I do read I prefer non fiction, usually something about the brain or the possibilities of space travel. (I've been running for a long, long time, and the notion of actually leaving the planet is a terribly romantic one to me).

I love just about any form of music. Technology and the internet have made it possible for me to continue working with a band in minneapolis despite my travels. My ex would tell you my favorite genre is lesbian music. I just like music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around Europe a (very) little bit. it was amazing. But the most amazing thing I've ever seen was a double rainbow halo circling the moon. it was so beautiful, I wish I had had a camera on me at the time. that was in North Dakota in 2001.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm most interested in a person's soul. I do believe that expression is how the soul communicates with the world around it, so I'm most likely to surround myself with people who consider themselves artists. That said, I want to learn about people and culture all over, and am interested in meeting anyone with love in their heart.
