I am Vaibhav, and I grew up in New Delhi. I moved to US to pursue my bachelors and I currently live in Berkeley ( near San Francisco), California. I have had a history of moving almost every two years and I love the fact to be able to meet so many people and visit so many people. I work for a startup in the "silicon valley" - MyFitnessPal and play soccer. I love traveling and learning about new cultures, trying different cuisines and just getting to interact with people from all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think its a very cool idea; I think traveling is too boring to stay in a hotel and do things on your own. I'd rather stay with a local and get to learn more about the place, culture, norms from them. And in return I want to do the same. I'd love if people visiting San Francisco area would like to stay at my place and would enjoy me showing them around.
I have traveled quite a bit in the US, and I really want to start traveling internationally.

I really like reading motivating and inspirational books - The 4 hour work week, First things first, Zero to one, Tipping point. Currently reading - Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove from Minnesota to California straight 40 hours (took one break though) but it was amazing. Also I went to Alaska to see Northern Lights
