I'm Val, 19yrs old, from Ireland but originally from Kosovo. I was studying in culinary college until I decided to drop out to travel across Europe and Morocco and then to emigrate to Canada.

I will be starting my journey in Amsterdam, then travelling throughout the Netherlands, Germany, France, and then I will make may way to the south of Spain to travel to Morocco to meet up with some friends. When my travels in Morocco are complete I will be emigrating to Toronto for hopefully a new life.

I'm a very positive person and have a very laid back personality. I understand that I am still very young and perhaps not as well travelled as many others but I more than make up for it in passion and a good work ethic. I can be naturally shy at first but I easily build a trust and connection with people and from then on I will talk for hours with no restrain. I simply love conversations with interesting and confident people. Fuck your phone and Facebook. Tell me about your deepest hopes and dreams for the world. That's what I love about travelling, the infinite stories and life lessons you learn from people you may have only met a few minutes ago.

I find everyone to be incredibly interesting, with a story to tell. All of your personal life experiences are ones I cannot begin to comprehend just like you cannot comprehend mine. So no matter how unimpressive you may think your life is, it is not. Express yourself and share your ideas with the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving from Ireland to Kosovo(a 3,500km journey) every summer as a child with my family is one thing I'm incredibly proud of. I feel like those long, scenic trips was what first sparked my passion for travelling. Getting to see everything that Europe had to offer; historic cities such as London and Rome, the beautiful Adriatic cost and my favourite of all, the canals of Amsterdam.
Being stuck in a car for three days with the people you love, having nothing in front of you but the open road with only laughter and games to kill the time.
