About Me
Hi couchsurfers,
I'm Valentina and I'm an italian girl.
I’m a simple and quiet person and I’m always interested in a million things and I’m very creative, reliable and responsible.
I’ve always had an interest for dancing that I’ve practiced for several years: first modern dance and then latin dance.
One of my biggest passions is photography. I love taking pictures of everything in different ways and I have participated in two competitions; I didn’t win but I was happy because my photos were appreciated.
I also like travelling. I like the idea of visiting new places, discovering new cultures, meeting new people and that’s why I love studying languages that allow me to communicate with anyone.
In October, I found online the "AuPair in America" programme and I told to myself: this is my chance!
It’s a great way for travelling and meeting new people but another reason that prompted me to choose this programme is my love for children.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and learning new things from different cultures every day.
This website gives the possibility to people to share their culture, their food, their interests and , in general, the way of life.
In our lives, there's always more to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An incredible thing I did?
Well, I think that leaving home, family, friends, school and reaching America alone, without knowing anyone, can be considered an incredible thing.
Many people to whom I told what I did, ask me: what? I would never do it. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that.
For me it isn't a big thing but if I see this from another point of view, I'm really proud of my choice.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I wrote before, I love always learning something different from others.
Obviously I would like to share part of my culture with you.
