ABOUT ME

I was born in Holland, and grew up moving around quite a bit- it is probably part of what has made me love travelling even more.. I am currently working in Mildura after having moved here from Scotland. I am quite relaxed, I enjoy a pint/wine, and most things really. I have not couch surfed very often but currently have my own place with a spare room and, although I am out a lot, I would be happy to occasionally host someone :)

PHILOSOPHY

This is quite hard to answer in a short paragraph! I feel it is important to enjoy life and share. I have wanted to be a vet for multiple reasons including helping animals. This is something I would like to do in charities as well to contribute a bit. I think it is important to have something you enjoy every day, even if it is vegging indoors or chatting to a friend if that's what you feel like! A balance of doing things you love and working to live (finance-wise) is important I think, since now matters too and not only the future. This is of course easier said then done sometimes, but as a general rule I think its good to follow for personal happiness (and those around you!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed two couches so far, both a two years ago in the summer and both were good experiences. I know it can be helpful to have a place to stay when travelling , and I'm happy to offer my spare room to someone passing through :)

Interests

Climbing, travelling, working with animals, being outdoors, cooking/baking (although not necessarily great at it haha), reading.... many more things!
