ABOUT ME

Just an old girl with no expectations on anyone but me. I'm resilient and love change but but this years changes have left me a little flabbergasted at the moment.
I'm keeping busy with temp work and volunteering until I find where I belong. It has been a rough year, circumstances beyond my control -- topped off with a dose of hurricane sandy and a long hard road to recovery.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I may need a couch or 2 here or there, I've been sending out resumes nationally. I'm in a cash crunch situation so if I get one of these amazing positions I can barter - I'm a fantastic cook, I have mad skills as a landscaper and organizer and laundry is not a chore it's a fact of life. I also see this is about exploring my own community with new people, I am ready!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

NOTHING USING THIS SITE but I am a very conscientious human being & work double time to respect boundaries and homes when invited.

Vegetarian/Vegan/baking/allergy/ethnic cuisine cooking. I also bbq meat for my carnivore friends as long as it is ethically sourced AND I can chuck wagon cook.
beads - I was a volunteer at a bead museum & worked in an amazing bead store... I do a little silver smithing but I also hand stitch beads, ribbons and embroidery
