About Me

To explore Europe.

I'm not one for describing myself, but I work in a hospital, I'm pretty laid back, and I like my hobbies as anyone does. I enjoy watching people, and I have a good ability to place myself in someone else's position. I like deep conversations, but I'm a bit of an introvert.

I'm not a major people person, and I'm hoping that traveling can change that. I really am a bit naive, I guess. The reason why is because I'm spending quite a sum of money on traveling, when I could be doing things a bit more... normal. I want to see the world, and make friends with who I can. Money, although it's a factor, is more of a means to find what you enjoy more than enjoying the fact that you have it. The only reason why I have a job is to pay for taxes and to experience life! I couldn't imagine having more money than needed. I'd say I'm pretty laid back, but I still can take care of myself. Anyone that's interested in having a good conversation won't need to look further than I. I want to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in couch surfing right now, and when I get an apartment I'll have a couch for anyone to crash on. If anyone comes this far north in the US.

I have very little.

I'm interested in everything middle ages. I am apprentice falconer, apprentice blacksmith, and I also enjoy calligraphy. Other than that, I do sword fighting, especially with Rapier fencing, with a local group. I also fly, and enjoy a good book when I can. I also have a good heart for music and culture in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like epic movies. Sadly, most of them play on history, and get it terribly wrong. This is fine with me, as the movie is just a movie, and I understand that. Music is pretty varied. I like a lot of kinds, and I'm always willing to listen to more. Just recently I've picked up on British Folk (I know, it's random) thanks to an online radio, but I listen to everything from that to black metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhh... Falconry? that's pretty much it. I'm not really the kind of guy who wants to flaunt my talents. I know how to do things, but nothing I would say is amazing. The only thing different about me from others is honor and falconry. both changed who I am.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot on falconry, naturally as I am a falconer, and blacksmithing as well. I'm always up to learn about history, or someones background. I've also been pretty good at helping dramatic situations, if anyone has a lot of things going on and would like a good opinion.
I like learning about skills, as well.
