About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to trek the US with my two daughters and to teach them that there is good in the world and wonderful people that inhabit it.

ABOUT ME

I love new experiences and have a great sense of humor (so I think). I love food, music and great conversation. In my humble opinion life is meant to be fun and full of adventure and experiences. I am married to a wonderfully patient man and we have two beautiful, funny, and intelligent daughters. I am well loved. Traveling is another big passion of mine and one in which I want to indulge in more often. I am hoping that being part of the CS community will enable to do so.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participated by joining this wonderful community and am opening my doors to any that wish to visit this not so known part of CA. In addition, I would like to spread the word of CS as I begin to travel and hopefully end up on your couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet. Soon to change I am sure.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love foreign and independent films. I listen to all kinds of music such as samba, hip hop, jazz, r & b, salsa, merengue, trance, on and on. Just not country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing experience I had was when at the age of 18 I took a 10 hour bus ride to Cartagena then a taxi to a ferry, hitched a ride on a truck and walked about 2 miles to meet some friends in Baru. It was a remote island off of Cartagena where we only had fresh water for drinking, eating and brushing our teeth. It was an amazing, carefree and beautiful week. Johnson baby shampoo is one of the only shampoos to make suds with ocean water! I have also touched the bottom of a submarine. I have seen Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. Nature always inspires awe in me. I have looked in the eyes of true love with several individuals. I am a mother.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't think of one thing that I have no interest in learning. I am open to new skills and thoughts at all times.
