I'm a philosophy student between degrees who lives in Cape Town. I tutor philosophy part-time to university students, which leaves me enough time to pursue my other interests. I'm a keen cook, and love to host dinner parties and experiment with new recipes. I paint, and write, and read, and am always studying formally or informally.

I'm about to travel to Istanbul with two girlfriends and I'm hoping to find some hosts there.

Painting, writing, reading, cooking, academic learning.
I'm quite devoted to seeking out fun events like book launches, music, art exhibitions, theatre and talks, and Cape Town offers a wealth of this sort of activity.
I'm a foodie, so eating out with friends and having dinner parties are some of my favourite things to do.
Despite being a Humanities graduate, I also have an interest in maths and science and try and educate myself about these things.

I have an attitude of a tourist, even though I live in Cape Town - I deliberately explore always, and I would like to do that with others who also want to explore the city and surrounds. In that way, I'd be a good guide.
I love cooking, and have old family recipes of South African favourites.
