La plus belle de toutes les fleurs, est le fleur de la Liberté.
I'm an energetic girl, very curious about the world around me, I laugh a lot and I guess I'm easily amazed, by people, places, sounds, pictures.. anything really!
I love the prettiness of tiny details in life, like musci you hear on the street, a surprising view when you look around a corner or an amazing picture or drawing like my favorites by Alfonso Mucha and Michal Negrin.
Sports (dancing, snowboarding, fitness) are a big part of my life since I need to loose my energy daily, squeezed in with my schedule of working, going out and enjoying the good things in life.
I love good foods and great wines. Spicy, colorful, coconutcream dishes, enjoyed under the sun outside or inside during heavy rain fall and thunder.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Loved every one of them, since it's just really cool meeting different people: it makes you loo at a place (even your own city) in a complete different way.
Music, flamenco dancing, literature, snowboarding, dogs, sprakles, Alfonse Mucha, chili peppers, children and teenagers, ways to make life as comfortable as possible, wine, thunder and lightening, anything international, culture, shoes, languages, flowers, hand crafts, my job.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy various types of music, books and movies (in that order). In general, it depends on how it triggers me to think or contrive about it.
Latin music, French chansons, party pop and classical music make me travel the world without actually leaving home. Writers like Roald Dahl, John Irving and Carlos Ruiz Zafon create new worlds that again enables me to invent even more. Movies like Amélie, Diving Bell and the Butterfly and the movies of Quentin Tarantino invite me into their incredible worlds by just a wink of the remote control.
I love any documentation on different cultures, such as Duende (John Webster), What is the What (Dave Eggers), Tsotsi (Athol Fugard) or Girls of Riyadh (Rajaa Alsanea).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing can be anything and everything.
Living longer periods far away from home in Australia, Spain and Ecuador. Meeting incredible people in jungle communities or metropole cities. Dancing under the moonlight in the night of native Quichua's Sun Festival. Being cleansed by a Tsashila shaman in a river and completely loosing sense of reality.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to teach that Dutchies are not as ridiculous as world press makes us look haha! I'd like to learn about others' habits and ideas. I can share my food and friendship.
