About Me

CURRENT MISSION

life spiced with some adventure

ABOUT ME

Obsessed with knowledge. and getting to know the world around me.

I try to grab every moment to find little things I can be happy for, and I'm trying to make the ones around me realise the beauties of life... let it be a beautiful storm, a heavy snowfall or a personal note that you find in a second-hand dictionary you just bought. I like being alone as well, to recharge my batteries; to put on my headphones and just listen to music. I'm a real music addict and, besides, obsessed with cooking & literature.

one additional info: I feel a mysterious link with the North, the Scandinavian countries, the nature up there and the people. I recall every moment spent up there with affection and nostalgia. I love going to the sauna. It's a way of meditation for me.

PHILOSOPHY

if you do something good you'll get it back eventually.

"Is it a good day to die?"

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm really happy to show anyone around at Budapest and share good recipes...etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

as soon as I'll have my own place, I'll host:)

But thanks to CS I found some very good friends :)

meetings in Turku, Budapest and Minsk

Interests

music [singing, playing the guitar], photography, dancing & sports [skiing, swimming], travelling, culture, military conflicts, peacekeeping, meditation, politics, CUISINE

Music, Movies & Books

I'm an omnivore: I don't care for genres as long as it is quality music. One thing is sure: music is indispensible. :)

Books? Read many! Maybe the most influential ones were: - Bulgakov: Heart of a Dog, Master & Margarita - Neil Gaiman's & Truman Capote's books - Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer - books on terrorism, peacekeeping, mediation, armed conflicts

One Amazing Thing I've Done

so far top places seen/done: Toubkal, Fuji, Svalbard, Iceland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to share recipes, language & travel advice...

I welcome suggestions where to go, what to do/eat in certain towns/cities... & recipes.

What I Can Share With Hosts

If you host me, I'm up for a conversation any time. In addition I cook something (e.g. typically Hungarian) for you with pleasure. I believe that food is memories, a dish can trigger a good talk and presupposes a night well spent. Plus it is a great way to bring people together. :)
