ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Veronica, more commonly known as Vron :)
24 year old nurse from Dunedin, New Zealand about to depart on the biggest adventure of my life so far. Moving away from my home town to go and experience what the rest of the world has to offer! About to go and live the dream, couldn't be more excited.

I'm travelling to the UK in June for a working holiday- hoping to do some work as a nurse and utilize weekends and time off to explore Europe.
I travelled from New Zealand to the UK last year to have a small look around and see what the fuss was about, loved it so much I'm coming back for more.

I am a fairly laid back person, not too many things bother me and I like to think I am easy to get along with. Being a nurse I am outgoing, like talking to people and can find humour in almost any situation. I love to laugh, and love to make others laugh. Thoroughly enjoy sitting down and having a yarn with someone; learning about them and their situation. I'm a caring person, and like to make sure other peoples needs are looked after.

I love to explore and immerse myself in things.

My friends would say I have a fairly unique brand of humour that entertains those around me, I never short of an interesting story.

Looking forward to discovering the world and broadening my horizons, one place at a time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Entirely new concept to me, but I think it is an awesome way to meet new people and create connections. There isn't a more authentic way to learn about a place or the people who live in than this. Will always be willing to return the favour once I am back home in New Zealand, or once I am settled in London.

Centres d'intérêt

People. I love interacting with people and finding out about who they are and what makes them the person they are. My job as a nurse allows me to do this on a daily basis and I am in a truely priveledged position where I am allowed entry into people's personal lives. This has taught me a huge amount of respect for people and their situations.
Exploring. I love to learn new things and believe that your learning is never done; there is always something new to discover. The amount I have to discover is huge and I love it. Am always willing to learn about new things whatever it may be..
Interesting conversation. I love hearing people's opinions and why they have them. Being able to engage in conversation teaches you alot about not only the other person but your own ideas, as well as how you express these.
