ABOUT ME

We're a 7-member band from Louisville KY, plus a manager. Our sound ranges from bluegrass to sea shanties to funk to rock to jazz to... We perform over 90% originals, but we're known to toss in a few tasty cover tunes on occasion. We've been playing in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio for a while now and are working on expanding our territory into the southeastern states and the Atlantic states. If you know of any good venues in your city, we'd love to know about them. If you can host, we'll love you forever. If not, we'd still love to meet you at a show. With 7 or 8 people, most won't have room for us, but we can still use more friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're new to this website, but all of us have shared our couches with others and been welcomed in by others. If anyone needs to crash in Louisville, we can probably help. Heck, there's 8 of us! At least one of us is usually available any time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I, personally (I'm the manager, Compass.) have hitchhiked all over the country. In the many years of thumbing rides, I've been taken in by many kind souls for a night or longer. In my travels I've taken up residence in many cities and opened my doors for countless travelers to crash or just do laundry or something. I've made lots of friends that way. The members of the band have all been on the road in various forms and had random guests in their homes, also.

Wow, that's a big subject. Among our various heads we can expound upon such topics as political science, medicine, brewing beer, yoga, vegetarian cooking, computers, auto repair, farming, music theory, bicycles, art, home improvement, etc. In addition to playing music, we all have other interests and are willing to help others learn new stuff. That said, we love to learn new stuff, too.
