Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to make a road trip around the UK this summer with my friend Jean-Yves (greatest bassist in the world!) during one month (July-August). Our goals are to visit big cities, go to local bands' gigs (if possible), meet local people and go to the Bloodstock festival (heavy-metal) at the end of our journey (August 7th-9th) .

We'd travel by car and stop over in different cities (London-Cardiff-Liverpool-Manchester-Glasgow-Edinburgh-Newcastle...). The only way our project can come true is via couchsurfing (youth hostel are too expensive at this time of the year and sleeping in the car is our last option).
