I just graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign with a major in bioenvironmental engineering. I plan on working with water resources and engineering solutions to stormwater treatment. But in the mean time, I'm a waitress at a farm-to-table restaurant. I'm not ready for a big girl job, I want to take advantage of my youth and do as much as I possibly can. And because of that, I am always up for anything, especially if it's something new. I'm very easy going, down to earth, and respectful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and experiencing new things. I'm still new to couchsurfing but I've had friends share some amazing stories with their experience.

Interests

I like going to shows and discovering new music. I also love science and am always trying to learn new things. My favorite topic to learn about is astronomy. I have read many books/articles on the subject and I still am always amazed. But I still enjoy going out, being outside, trying new beers, coffee, and watching hockey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm currently working on a research where we're using waste water to cultivate algae. Then we're extracting bio-crude oil from the algae and converting it into bio-diesel oil.
