About Me

My motto is, "Bad things never happen to people with a positive perspective". I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and learning about the place where they live.
I am very positive (as you can see from my motto), I think we create our own happiness and have been living a pretty happy life so far :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the first 11 years of my life, I lived in a small town in Bulgaria. I moved to England with my parents and older brother about a week after my 11th birthday. This experience has motivated a desire to understand different cultures and travel. I think that only through getting to know the "locals" I will be able to get a true feel of the places where I travel.

Interests

I am very interested in the development of children, and in education. I think that only through travelling I will be able to develop this interest by getting to understand the root of cultural and individual differences.

I love reading: books, articles, anything that is well written and interesting. I also love taking long walks, cycling and any form of exercise that will get my heart pumping. On the other hand, I also enjoy a long stretching or yoga sessions to calm my racing mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have a favourite of anything really, I just appreciate it them for what they are. I can listen to anything, read anything, and watch anything that is well done. The book that has contributed to my life the most so far is "The Way It Is" by Serge Benhayon. My Spotify playlists are as varied as they can get, with traditional Balkan music, to House. I don't really watch movies because I can't pay attention to a screen for longer than 20 to 40 minutes, but a good TV series can be entertaining, currently watching Ad Men.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most amazing experiences come from working with children. Teaching them sports or mentoring them in a way to help them overcome whatever they're going through gives me a sense of satisfaction that nothing else really can.

Teach, Learn, Share

All three, I can teach everything I know, try learn everything I don't know and share whatever I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My positivity, smiling face in the morning, honesty, and anything that I can help with that's within my capabilities :)

Countries I’ve Visited
