About Me

I am 29 years old. When I say what I have done, seen, experienced in my life, people are surprised and wonder how I have managed to do so much in such a short period of time. I do not look like my age. Nonetheless I am pretty much disappointed with my life. I feel like I have wasted a lot of time on doing things that I did not really want to do. I lived fast, did things fast, did lots of things. Maybe it was a way of killing time not to have time to think, not to ask oneself essential questions - who am I? what do I want do in my life? These questions strike my every morning when I wake up, every time somebody asks me what do I want. That's why I want to go on this trip - I hope it will help me maybe not answer these questions, but rather finally decide on who I want to be and what I want to do. Simply believe in oneself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel with a friend to Milan Expo. We are both artists. On our way we want to make large format graffitis and paintings on demand. My friend runs a company which specializes in large format painting. We would like to stop by local people on our way.

Interests

Everything that I have not yet done, tried, seen in my life. I love experimenting and experiencing new things, learning through experimenting and experiencing. Also photography, drawing, sketching, painting, cycling, traveling, learning new languages, fishing, driving a car, wild nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

No favorite Music, Movies, Books. Every time I hear a question: "What is your favorite...", I start to panic. I would rather hear: "Have you read, listed to, seen something interesting lately?" So lately I found the music of Snakadaktal, Dub Fx pleasing. I would like to catch a fish in my life, so lately I read a lot of both specialist literature and belles-lettres on the subject. I love the books of Arturo Perez-Reverte - especially "The Nautical Chart" is my favorite. I watched the Russian Leviatan for the sake of the shot with the skeleton of the whale. I found the film rather depressive - I don't like depressive films, I agree with the Polish cross country skier Justyna Kowalczyk that art should primarily generate positive feelings. Though, paradoxically, I do express negative feelings in my own artistic work. I like films about gypsies - lately I have seen the Polish film about the Gypsy poet - Bronisława Weiss (Papusza). I liked the poems, the film was depressive, a couple of nice shots though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lately I have managed to overcome my own fear of scuba diving - I dived in full equipment in Lake Hańcza - one of the most popular diving sites in Poland. Quite an experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, French, Polish and elements of other languages: Swedish, German, Ukrainian. I cook well. I would like to learn about the passions, experiences, living of the people I meet. I can share my experiences. My works of art. My ideas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My artistic works of art - postcards, bookmarks, drawings, sketches, etc. I am open to the ideas and needs of my clients. Together with my friend we can make any kind of large format painting or graffiti on wall both interior and exterior on demand.
