Well-traveled, easy-going, love animals (especially cats). Currently live in Buffalo, NY, but have lived in Omaha, NE and Guatemala. I love to travel and meet new people. My favorite places so far have been Haiti, Guatemala and Japan. I hope to keep exploring and meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the upcoming 2017/2018 school year, I am spending many weekends in NYC to visit my son. He is 9 and is starting at the St. Thomas Choir School, and intensive music school. He is an aspiring singer and will board there. Saturdays at the school are family days so I want to visit and support his dreams. I have family and frineds there but do not want to wear out my welcome. I also would like to make new frineds - hence couch surfing! Looking for a couch for Sunday nights only.

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend to like movies like Fight Club, shows like Walking Dead, and all kinds of music. Today I was listening to Syd Barrett but I like choral music and jazz as well as rock. I tend to prefer non-fiction over fiction these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the 80's I squatted in a derelict building inthe Lower East Side. I decorated a set for a commerical directed by John Waters.
