About Me

A little bit about us..

My name is Victoria and I have been traveling for around 6 months with my boyfriend Andres. We are both a young professional couple from Argentina. I studied Business and Andres Engineering. We did our work and travel in Sydney, where we lived for 8 months until we decided to start traveling! We have been together for almost 3 years and in the past 6 months we traveled around Australia, Asia and New Zealand. We really loved every country we visited and enjoyed meeting new people. We are now planning the last part of our trip which is around Europe for 3 months!

We are a very easy going couple, very considerate and we love to have good conversations with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are Couchsurfing for the first time and we are very excited about it. We lived in Sydney with 3 roomates (USA, Turkey and Norway) and have loved the experience to share a common place with people from different countries. We hope to find that in couchsurfing and getting to know each country from a local's perspective.

We do have a reference from our Airbnb experience here: https://es.airbnb.com/users/show/28739761

Interests

I love cooking (so more than happy to prepare anything you like), love reading and travelling. I sometimes write, but very occasionally. I enjoy a good conversation and meeting new people.

Andres loves football and practicing any kind of sports, he loves music and eating. That's why we are a good team, I cook and he eats haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel haha It's really hard to describe an amazing thing I've done, but travelling is in my top list. Many of my best decisions involve travelling. For example:
1. My first backpacker experience in Peru
2. When I did my exchange for 6 months in Bath, UK and was able to not only meet lots of different people around the world but also had the chance to travel around Europe
3. Coming to Australia

and... you will have to host me and Andres to learn more haha :)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can help teaching Spanish, sharing travel tips (our favorite thing ever), stories and even books or recipes.

We love to learn everything we can from each place we go, and listen to what others have to tell. We are very curious, open minded and always eager to learn more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What we love to share is a good home made meal and great conversation. I love cooking specially for others. Food, some wine and good company is what we enjoy the most.
