Carpe Diem, Carpe Nox!
A compulsive neat freak while guesting, art-lover, francophile, culinary genius (not really, but I wish I was!)
It's quite depressing actually. While I consider myself Christian, I've not gotten my hopes up about the prospect of an eternity of immortality. I believe that even if we do die, and are good enough to get into heaven, and the afterlife exists, we can never experience the things we've experienced while alive the same way. So while I'm here, for a brief breath of life, I want to see as much natural beauty as possible.
So I've posted a picture from different touristy cities around the world (that I've visited). Of course I included Manhattan, because even though I live there, it still counts as a major landmark. I love biking, walking, museums, karaoke, swimming, boating, roller-coastering, beach-going (with a parasol and spf 50+), plays, ballets, musicals, drawing, cooking, cleaning, and eating. Especially eating. I really love that. I also love travel, but I've never had the opportunity because I've always been too young. Gotta go! The roasted almonds are about to burn!...PS. roasting raw almonds in maple syrup is extremely decadent and amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen centuries-old art in the Vatican, palace rooms so lavish they can only be something a child dreamed up in Madrid, fingered revolutionary bullet-holes in the cool stone of Williamsburg, dined with Cinderella and her Prince in Disney World, traversed Washington D.C. with an entire 8th grade class, mosied along the gulf of Mexico searching for Shark's teeth in Venice, body surfed the ocean off the shoreline of Cape-Cod, learned about the history of Niagara Falls from her base, helped children cope with the loss of a parent while lake-side in Maine, and have stood at the top of Mount St. Anne gazing down into a beautiful and foreign country (Canada). More to come. I've not yet done any thing amazing, but I've still got 80% of my life left to find something.
