Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I have been so fortunate in my life that I have many amazing moments. Each conversation that I have with someone sparks a memory that I am glad to share. It is difficult to come up with the best moment to share on here, but this is the one that is fresh in my mind right now. My friend Allison and I were recently hiking through the Austrian Alps. It was beautiful and there was still snow on the ground in some places. Before leaving for our hike we asked if there was any wildlife that we should be on the lookout for. We are both from Alabama, so dangerous wildlife is nothing new to us. After a pause the girl shrugged and said, "Cows." This made us both giggle well into our hike. We turned a corner and there before us was a kangaroo. Yes, you read that right. A kangaroo! She thought she should warn us about cows, but it didn't occur to her that we would be more surprised by the kangaroo. Now I can say that I have seen a kangaroo in Austria. :)
