About Me

ABOUT ME

I am pursuing career/lifestyle change abroad. I am evaluating a busines|job proposal in Canada between 5/17 april 2016. I deeply enjoy one on one conversation.
I have passion for technology and its effect in society and the way people will relate to each other, connecting ideas and pushing forward common projects and ways of living.
I need sports and music as much as I need air and water. I studied classical guitar since I was a kid. I decided to pursue law instead of music composition (Hey... I was young and needed the money!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am not plainly seeking shelter but trying to build a network of alike minded people living abroad. I am especially interested on knowing foreigners who migrated to Canada. I have made great foreign friend through this site and aribnb, so I am also absolutely willing to host them in my apartment in return.

Note> I have already made a reservation from the 5th of april until the 8th of april in Toronto, at the Omni King Edward Hotel which is a pretty nice hotel, but I rather spend that money inviting my couchsurfing for dinner in return of their experience, knowledge and hopefully a walk around their favorite places around Toronto.

Interests

I can't leave without sports or music.
I used to be a book worm... I am slowly surpassing that addiction.
I love technology and looking forward to blend my professional qualifications and experience with the Internet of Things.
I deeply enjoy one-on-one interesting conversation.
I am open minded.
There is nothing like cooking and then eating the dish in company of nice bottle of wine and a conversationalist guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I studied classical guitar since I was a kid.
I decided to devote myself to music once... but I couldn't do it for money, so I became I lawyer and I only play when I feel like playing .
I enjoy the widest array of music genre and art forms, from ancient folk music from the balkans, to cutting edge nordic jazz. I love flamenco guitar and classical music, gipsy jazz and cuban salsa music.
I can read everything but I mostly enjoy technology, technical stuff and philosophy.
I loose track of time while drawing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. In 2012 I climbed a mountain alone and spend New Years at the top watching the fireworks all along the coastline.
2. I was granted with an scholarship (17th years old) and went sutdying and living for a bit more than a year in NY. It expanded my mind and influenced my life immensely.
3. I survived (and actually deeply enjoyed) a flood that left my house under a meter of mud. Then I spent a week shooting big fat rats with my riffle and imagining I was living in the amazon. They say life is what you make out of it. I guess I made an adventure out of a tragedy!!
4. I kissed Megan Fox once... But it was dark and rainy night, and I was extremely inhebriated, so it could have been someone else. Although, I am sure it was a gorgeous woman.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach english, spanish, international tax law, real estate investment and offshore business structures and of course, guitar.
I want to learn interaction design and a third language before I turn 35 (2 years left).
I am currently learning piano (jazz oriented) and loving it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An extremely comfortable couch or the spare room.
I can share house holding cores if they host me. I can also cook.
