About Me
Hey, I am Andi! I am a physical therapist on my way to move to London for a one year Master program. When I am not working I love to dance Bachata (sensual), Salsa and Urban Kiz, go out and have some decent white wine or a gin tonic. I love the city life with all it’s energy and diversity but as I grew up on the Austrian countryside I also appreciate mountains (in Winter and summer alike), nature, lakes and some peace and quite.
When it comes to sports I like mountain biking, snowboarding, swimming, hiking and of course dancing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It’s a special way to travel. It‘s honest and authentic and people care about each other, I really like that!
A while back, when I was working as an au pair in France, I met with a girl from CS for coffee. We had a really good time and when my host family kicked me out without any notice a few days later she bought an air bed and I moved in with her, in her12 sqm apartment in Cannes for two weeks. She turned a really crappy situation into the best 2 weeks of my summer! We are still friends and visit each other once a year, for almost 10 years now
Interests
Sooo let‘s talk about Bachata then ;)
The last big congress I attended was Bachatea in Aranjuez 2018. Then it was time to start saving money for my MSc. I will attend Vienna’s first Bachata congress in September though, it’s gnna be brilliant! Dancing always cheers me up and gives me so much energy and joy, I love it and am looking forward to get to know London‘s Bachata scene soon!
