ABOUT ME

I grew up in the western parts of Norway, with deep fjords, glittering glaciers and apple flowers, wearing national costumes all the time.. however - I am a friendly, curious and 192 cm tall guy from Norway (but any couch will do, I have my techniques). I love to learn about new people, and have a positive and usually deep view on things in life. I enjoy talking about great experiences, music, tasty food, photography, new technology, politics, women, love, good communication, history and the future.

PHILOSOPHY

The purpose of life is doing everything but the things you know is NOT the purpose of life.. so stop whining, worrying, pondering and procrastinating :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just some here and there before joining couchsurfing.org, but finally had my first experience in Granada november 2010. I was very positively surprised, and happy to get started

Music, Movies, and Books

Among my favourite books are Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, When Nietzsche Cried, Wild Sheep Chase and A Short History of Nearly Everything. Love lots of different music, I started listening to jazz 11 years old, ran into funk in my teens, played in a rock band for a couple of years and now I listen to electronica and sing in a classical choir. Science fiction movies are great, also thrillers and gripping documentaries.
