I am here because I always want to visit new countries and I am of the kind of people that think that in a touristic hotel you really do not get to know much about the country. In a hotel you just get to know the fanciest version of a place, but not the reality. While when you are hosted by a local, you get to know much more about the habits, ideology, and even spectacular areas that may not be mentioned in structured tours. Plus, I really do not enjoy grouped tour packages because it is very strict and limited to certain activities.
