Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fill hours with life; not life with hours.
ABOUT ME
Pacifist, discreet, curious, passionate and, most of all, environmentally concerned. Without dwelving into conspiracy theories or becoming a prophet of doom, I am having a hard time repressing this feeling that humanity should prepare for global collapse in the near future. In the meanwhile, I'm trying to make the most of what life has to offer while being careful to respect my environment and those of others.
PHILOSOPHY
Actions talk more than words. Be logic. Irrational behaviors and beliefs lead to unnecessary confrontations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm relatively new to couchsurfing. So far I have been hosted once. Unfortunately, my housing condition does not currently allow me to return the favor. However, I would be more than pleased to show people around montreal.
Interests
Meeting people, travelling the world, trekking, drumming, physics, all sciences, most topics in general.
I can find a degree of interest in nearly everything
- environment

Music, Movies, and Books
I loved Life aquatic with Steve Zissou along with most (if not all) Wes Anderson movies. I mostly liscen to electro-lounge but I enjoy all types of music when the mood is right. I mostly read ''educational'' type of books when its not plainly academic. I do however enjoy the occasional sci-fi novel such as Oryx and Crake (Margaret Atwood). I also couldn't help but hop on the Game of Thrones bandwagon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think visiting India was the most mind blowing thing I have experienced. The food, the languages, the religions, the landscapes, the people.. every day contained a whole new set of things to discover. While doing so, I also had the opportunity to trek the hymalayas. In particular, I took 3 days to climb the Stok Kangri which summits above 6100 meters. In general, I find experiencing life itself to be an amazing thing to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very curious by nature and eager to hear what people have to say about places they visited, things they learned in school or otherwise. As for myself, I enjoy playing handrums and I think I might have one or two tricks to show to a beginner (although I'm not a professional myself). My field of study is the physics of everyday objects applied to energy production and transport.
