ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Matt, time of writing 23 from London. I've already done a lot of couch-surfing to this point but never used this site until now. I've been around most of Europe by now and out east to Japan. I'm currently planning a 2 month stint inside the US, and using this lovely site to talk to fine people of the world.

I tend not to do a good job, or a job at all, describing myself but since you asked so nice, website, I will. I suppose I'd say I'm quite philosophically open minded. Atheist by trade, Computer Science by religion. I have a great appreciation and like for all things physics/philsophy/computers. Other usual things such as music, movies, existing all apply too.

I think it's as important when traveling to not just meet the places, but meet the people. I have met amazing humans on all my misadventures and I hope this is a trend which continues.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a backpacking traveller for a long time now and I've only just found out about Couchsurfing.com I think I saw the site some years ago but didn't look into in to it and see it was the amazing community of like minded people that it is. I hope to spread stories, see people and places, and soon enough have people with me in London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always like to live how the locals do, whilst tourist areas are sometimes worth seeing, they often are shallow (unless nature based. I like to hang out and stay with people, hopefully taking a bit of them as I leave and leaving a piece of myself behind.
